My baby falls ill when she was 2month old and was rushed to the hospital imediately because her body was hot and she was having convulsion, the paediatrician concluded she had meningitis after several tests were conducted and was placed on antibiotics for 21 days. As the treatments were carried out she was crying all nights for days and doesn't want to be touched which i complained severally to the doctor and she says its normal for babie with meningitis, it was later she suspected it was malaria and treated it too,everything becomes normal and we were discharged after completing the treatment and all the tests and scans shows normal

NOW THE MAIN ISSUES are

1) My baby couldn't control her head till she is six month old
2) she doesn't roll either directions (only to her left side)
3) doesn't grasps objects easily (reaches with left more than the right hand)
4) she is 12 months old now and doesn't sit independently
5) sometimes cries when her arms were pulled
6) urinates 2 or 3 times a day

she doesn't have any PHYSICAL disability in her body, she knows people around her, plays with her siblings, and shows interest in her foods and what she wants

We have been going for physiotherapy (electrotherapy) and have been taking encephabol suspension for more than 5 months now but no much improvements and the docters have been saying her case is mild not severe and she would be alrigh with time but I'm still concerned. though they suspect its cerebral malaria.and have booked an appointment with a paediatric neurologist (specialist) to see on May 16
