Nigeria

Week 1 - 1
Week 2 - 0
Week 3 - 2
Week 4 - 8

Next two weeks are crucial for Nigeria.
If we continue to take adequate precaution and break the chain then we can continue steming the tide the Corona virus Outbreak else we have a big problem in hand especially for the elderly population.

So far so good. Nigeria has done well so far in its fight to contain Corona Virus. Now we are in stage 4 in which Virus spreads through social contacts & in social gatherings.

This is most critical stage & number of confirmed cases spread exponentially everyday like what happened in Italy between last week of February & second week of March. From 300 to 10,000.

If Nigeria is not able to manage this stage for the next 3 to 4 weeks then especially with neighbours Cameroon and Togo index cases, we could have confirmed cases in Thousands.

This next one month is crucial. That is why most events & public gatherings should have been closed from now till 15th April with stricter border monitoring and better regulatory activities.

Let the schools, worship houses, relaxation joints, etc be closed to avoid getting that compulsive e exposure, travel & holiday bugs shouldn't make our people expose themselves to unnecessary risks and hazards.

Holidays will come next year too why try your luck with Corona specially with children. Marriage functions, Birthday parties etc can wait.

Don’t try your luck & that bravado that nothing will happen to me. Next 30 days will be most crucial in medical History of Nigeria.

Take all precautions while at home & while outside for any important work. Precaution is not panic.

Be a responsible citizen by following & educating others to remain careful for next one month.

Let us all be warned. Missing jumat is alal and missing Sunday service is neither a sin this week for the sake of public health.

Please moderator should help in sharing this news. We should all be proactive by moving this warning to front page. Today is Friday and Jumat is in very few hours. Sensitise people to avoid this now and sunday service should be stopped no matter what our religion leader might feel.
