Brother, if you might recall, trump was actually working with iran with it's nuclear enrichment program. About 2years ago Pres. Trump part ways with them as there was discrepacies inthe arrangement and there was a fishy relationship between EU and the Iranians, as the EU that sanctioned Iran from its SWIFT Banking system now opened another link with them which prompt trump to tighten up the sanction even more, furthermore china called on the US's attention as there was mass movement in it meters which may be related to nuclear testing as of then.

You seem to dwel in the dark, do you think it is only the US that is imposing sanctions on them, including international organizations e.g EU, UN etc and various countries e.g Russia, China, India, England etc, all of them with sanctions on various grounds or same grounds inclusively breach of agreements or contract. What happens when issue like this pops out, Iranians rally behind their government, giving the mullahs more legitimacy to hold on to power, they know who their real enemies are. But one thing is sure, Iranians will never surrender, a very proud and stubborn people.

With policies such as these, I doubt if there would be any regime change, the only people who can enforce that are Iranians, but with these evil and crippling sanctions during one of their darkest hours, they'd rather stay under their Islamic leaders than go the American way.

I was surprised at the number of volunteers that were coming out daily to support the health system, I thought they were mad at their leaders, similar thing played out in the 80's.
