Good for them that is what we are saying RUGA is for fulani so if they like they can empty their state purse and even suck their blood to build it in their region its their cup of tea we don't give a bleep.

Even N36billion is too small Gandudollar can empty his entire state revenue to build the
f u c k i n g damn RUGA shit.

The funny thing is foolish people are allowed to have their say in democracy so enjoy.

What silly strides??

Anything RUGA is to aid the Fulani and their cows and it adds no value to other people's life....

They should employ modern technologies to improve grazing and breeding of their cows in the North..

And the FG should not interfere..

Put 95m dollars to diversification and see results.

Does Nigeria export cows ? No.
You don't need to export cows....Nigeria's milk consumption yearly runs into billions, not to talk of meat consumption. This will still bring in money.

Ganduje I know is corrupt.

But still can't deny the fact that he makes giant strides with strict rules. The sentences in bold can attest that his plans are feasible and a benefit to the state at large.

Kudos!

Please shut up

I hope you came back changed smiley

And I noticed you remember that word irritant grin

Back to the topic, As far as this will help to reduce the killings of farmers by Herdsmen, then it's a welcome idea.

Gandollar may have his faults, but he seems to be on point with this?

But how do you make sure this money will not end up in private pockets, thereby frustrating the herdsmen and leaving them with no option but to go back to the status quo?

Who will pay? FG (through NGR oil funds), State government or from the profits submited by RUGA?
Will Ruga be a state government-owned business or will it belong to one man?
Is this investment of any benefits to the Hausa's in Kano?

Re: Ruga Settlement: Kano Government Unveils N36 Billion Project by saajus: 11:25am On Mar 23, 2020
I think $95m is too much for that project. We like to waste money on one thing and neglect several others. Although, the article didn't specify land size. I think land, grass, mesh fence, water supply will be ok for our herdsmen who are literally "homeless". I will achieve those with less than $10m. That minimal should be good to relocate them first. They will use the herdsmen as free labour for any other future development like schools, structures, and so on. Since they won't be paying rent, they should be happy to volunteer. If they build that place by themselves, there will be a sense of ownership and they will manage the properties better.

Whatever it takes to promote fulani culture and makes life better for them even at the expense of others is a major priority of this government and its cronies.

As long as Ruga stays where it belongs,I have no issue.

Well done sir !

Spending such huge amount for private cow buši ess? Why doesn't the govt spend that money in building a ranch and employ people to work there? This is a big I sult to Nigerians. This is pure mockery. White elephant project to hand over land and steal public funds. They are mortgaging the pockets of future generation s by taking huge loans and this shit is what they are planning to spend money naija doesn't have on?

Good for them over there

We want to believe that it is only projects such as this one that can curb farmer-herder clashes and security risks, improve farm yields, accelerate livestock production through adoption of modern best practices to improve the economic potentialities of smallholder farmers,.
The project will improve the capacity of our herdsmen to produce and process more milk and pave way for quality beef production.

God bless Kano State.
God bless Nigeria.
