Akọ Okuta, Oyinbo called it "flint stone"

Flint is a sedimentary cryptocrystalline form of the mineral quartz, categorized as the variety of chert that occurs in chalk or marly limestone. Flint was widely used historically to make stone tools and start fires

It is called Albreite. Its not just a stone but belong to the nomenclature Brimesevitaris which was discovered in Australia. Its main purpose is for ornamental use and can often be used by local in curring vegetables before it is finally eaten.
The Albreite when soaked inside lime water produces the pure form of argon gas because chemically it reacts with water and the remaining particles called fromstone can be laced with fire to form shiny metal like pebbles.
If you like believe all the stuff I wrote above. You are on your own.
And I was foolishly reading with my science brain fully activated grin

Very sound description.

Not the alberite gang or pebble groups.

You will mostly find this stone lumped together with different lithologies of quartzite
