Mordecai:
They should declare a lockdown already.

Pay salaries immediately, give 2 days, then declare a lockdown nationwide.

No movement should be allowed across wards, except by emergency medical personnel and armed military men enforcing the order.

Movement within wards would be supervised to allow those that have give essential items - food etc to those that don't.

After 3 weeks, the situation will be reevaluated.

No be only lockdown. D new cases being reported, were did they come from? Did they fall from d sky? D govt refuses to enforce quarantine at d airport especially for UK returnees and it wants to enforce lockdown. People are strolling into d country from corona hotspots & u are advocating lockdown when d problem is at d airport

I'm telling you.
I woke up about two hours ago, and the first thing that came to my mind was "coronavirus" . This matter is causing serious panic.

Have you ever wondered how people would socialize after this whole thing dies down (hopefully)? Would things ever be the same?

Nigerians pls in the name of God Almighty, stay at home for at home at least 3 weeks, the thing can still be controlled if everyone stays at home. This has gone beyond just closing the border, its for everyone's good.

Stay at home, then if you notice any of the symptoms, call the toll free number, that's just the best thing to do,Nigeria does not have the capacity to test every Nigerian, no country does anyway, but stay in your house, the virus won't come and meet u at home.

And pls,if u know u re financially bouyant enough to help those that won't have anything to eat at this critical time, pls do well to help, surely there is a reward for u in Heaven, nobody should use the excuse of wanting to what they re going to eat to put their lives, that of their families as well as Nigerians at large, I know it will be hard, but their health should come first, don't put the life those that complied with the stay at home directive in jeopardy, plsssss.

Why were d international airports not closed for 3weeks? Corona can't be controlled when people stay at home. It can only be controlled when d govt enforces quarantine at d airports. Is it people that leave their homes that cause corona in Nigeria or d people who are trooping in from UK and Italy?

We can't keep putting up blame games, partial lock down might reduce further spread.

We hope people listen,
though it will be hard at first.
But safety comes first.
This is not only happening in Nigeria,
It is all over the world.
This virus is really bringing the world to a LOCKDOWN.

Oan,
We pray some people won't die of hunger while running from Coronavirus.
All hands are not equal.
Let's be our brother's keeper at this time guys.
Lend a hand to the less privileged around you.
@, We started sharing our bags of foodstuffs we bought for the stay at home to some less privileged in our neighborhood already( the little we can to help out) we started just 48 hours ago and we know we won't regret it.
Kindly do the little you can to help, if you can.
May God bless us all.
This too shall pass.
STAY SAFE GUYS.

Reactionary goverment. Always on the defensive. You started in 2015 by calling all critics wailers but by that psyche closed your ears to social signals, deadened your senses to the real condition of the country and in listening to the few hailers alone turned off all the alarms that guarantees the safety of the citizenry.

This is the result. Enjoy your country. A goverment that does not listen and is not responsive cannot succeed.

U re still talking about the past with your 'y were' question. The virus is in our midst already, the best thing is to enforce that quarantine you said and also enforce the stay at home directive.

Now I understand why some people said they don't want to have kids, just ask yourself, why bring them into this wicked world?
Imagine you and ur family in isolation, those innocent children, this is fvcking scary

Its your choice to join them and not have kids also.

It's not easy for people to comply till it's enforced......US had to use army......so business men/women won't listen till it's enforced.
If we are being sincere to ourselves, people will die more of hunger than the virus itself. The government wasted so many opportunities to improve the economy in the past. I hope all the people responsible for the situation we find the country contracts the virus and passes on from there
