Covid19-total Lockdown In Nigeria. How Feasible? by bnbash(m): 12:29pm On Mar 24, 2020
With the Covid19 virus spread in Nigeria with 40 recorded cases, so many concerned citizens are calling for a total lockdown in order to stop the virus from further spread among the 200 million population. My concern is how is that going to be possible without causing more death as a result of hunger considering the fact that a large percentage of the Nigerian population cannot afford to stock their houses with food that can last for a week? What can the government do to prevent both?

A very interesting write up. However, this is more applicable to at least middle class household. What about the extremely poor that they have to go out on a daily basis to look for what to EAT. Luxury even on a normal day is not even part of their agenda. Looking for survival is their daily business.
