Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has said that there are not enough hospital spaces as Nigeria battles COVID-19.

Tinubu stated this after paying a visit to the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Addressing newsmen, Tinubu advised residents to stop handshakes and hugs stressing that the need for personal hygiene at this time can not be overemphasized.

Tinubu also urged residents to support the government in the war against COVID_19 by obeying directives and advisories being issued by government agencies.

He also stressed the need for residents especially market men & women to adhere strictly to the 'Principle of Social Distancing.

Self isolation, no hand shakes, washing of hands for at least 20 seconds at intervals and use of alcohol based sanitizers ( at least 70% vol) are good ways to prevent spread of the virus.

Truth be told, corruption kills faster than any virus. Now we have no sound response system, no isolation centres, nothing to save lives. Yet all these things are there in our yearly budget.

You're right.. that is why it is advisable for everyone to wash their hands with soap (any soap atal) or use alcohol based sanitizer to remove the virus and prevent them from infecting themselves and others.

Some of the symptoms include:

1. Fever or high temperature
2. Difficulty breathing
3. Sore throat
4. Coughing and sneezing
5. Respiratory issues
6. Chest pain
7. Bluish face and lips etc.

As always, prevention is better than cure.
