Galileo has always fascinated me. Way back when , the Catholic Church controlled over 60% of the free world, every king , queen or emperor answers to the system one way or another. Take note, the world then was a very religious world , and making the church the only avenue to God subjugated entire empires and made even kings answerable to the pope.
