A final year student studying Marine Biology at Akwa Ibom State University, Godwin Edet, have been confirmed death after drowning in Akwa Ibom river. The sad incident happened on Monday 23 March, 2020 when he went to swim in the river in company of unidentified friends. According to reports, Godwin Edet went to swim in company of some guys (yet-to-be identified) at the borrow stream with the excuse that the normal stream isn’t hygienic. “His friends who could not rescue him later ran into the village and raised alarm and later went into hiding for fear of the unknown” Read more and See Pictures @ https://www.busitechnews.com/photos-akwa-ibom-varsity-final-year-student-drown-in-river/
