Emerging technologies such as Telepresence and video streaming are making businesses easier to run even in the academic circle. Educational centres such as universities, polytechnics and colleges of education that have large number of students to receive lectures at same time need to deploy videoconferencing in some selected lecture halls on campus . For same lecture with large students, a Lecturer is Lecture Hall A and teaches students distributed to other lecture halls.
Problems to Solve
i. Large class on campus is solved by installation of standard videoconferencing on campus. Videoconferencing also removes face-to-face meeting while travels less to save cost for your organization.
ii. Off-campus teaching – in case there is closure of institutions due to a riots or epidemic which will keep students from campuses , the academic units can provide lectures by online streaming with hundreds of students connecting to lecture at a time.
This solution ensures that academic activities are not disrupted.
Case Study

Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife: The university deployed videoconferencing systems to create multisite teaching making life easier for students by decongesting the large classes.
