My friend whose parents reside in Portharcourt is serving in Uyo. The Akwa Ibom State government is yet to restrict movement and close down schools in that state.
The Rivers State Government has banned movement in and out of the state from effect of tomorrow 6pm.
And The NYSC coordinator aint doing anything about it. Instead they are asked to come to school and coordinate exams for students .
What will be the fate of these copers if they are trapped in there. This is recklessness.
NYSC should Order all Copers to go home with immediate effect.

Please we should call them and Akwa Ibom State Government out.

What lockdown? In Nigeria? What is on the news the DG NYSC has given directive that all corpers can go back to their families/homes until further directive because of the COVID-19

my questions too. even while schools are closed down here in anambra state. corpers are asked to stay put by the state nysc. they have refused to clear corpers not until 3rd of march. and some corpers home state are already on lock down, while some others will lock down very soon. are they planning on shutting Corpers away from home this trying period.

It is true. In some states, Corpers were asked to remain in their PPAs and do their clearance for March when it's time. It is well!
