When state governments are announcing on state owned media outlets and various national platforms , you see the hypocrisy of how we have been deceived and badly managed over the years by the cursed elites of this country.
Work from home with what and to handle what kind of matters?
If an average local government staff is to work from home, who got him a laptop or provides him or her internet and how is reporting done when till this day we carry files in our agencies?
The Work from home talk by leaders is just one of those many things they say without meaning.
Work what from which home; with my generator or the light the government provided?
Crazy leaders who don't see beyond their devilish pockets.
Prices of commodities have risen in kogi big time and consumption has multiplied as folks only eat, sleep and burn generator fuel. N125 per liter is not enforced by tons of gas stations.

-They meant ghost-mode. As in your body will be at home, but your spirit will be at your place of work. I won’t say more than this; ask a Bini person.

Even in the office they are useless... many of government employees from state to federal government are not effective they paying what they don't work for. Some of them supposed to be in farm or site working but hell they will be in office stay idle and cross legs.

The idiocy of our leaders. They hear people abroad using the term...and next thing they carry the slogan.

In Europe and America, they specifically say work from home if you can... But everyone should stay at home except those running essential services.
Many govt offices are CLOSED in these places.

Whoever is the Head of Service at the state or national level announcing WFH for staff from level 1-10 should cover their faces in shame.
.
Why do you have to lie publicly? Just tell your workers to stay at home and work out modalities where the number of days spent staying at home doing nothing (which you are paying for) will be deducted from their annual vacation over a period of time _ say 5-10 years. It is a sacrifice we all have to pay for.

That's why nigeria is not productive..people arent productive.
Over 90%of public workers do nothing other than cross legs and gossip for the whole day then go home, yet we expect our country to develop

Truth is, organizations/government establishments never planned a scenario in which employees could work from home.

In other climes, some jobs give employees the option to work from home, even from other countries...but here, we don’t even have all the necessary infrastructure to carry out the duties remotely.

With the work from home option, one could manage other things beside the company duties, and even earn extra income from other businesses

That your last paragraph is a very brilliant suggestion. But our leaders can't think of that because it entails the proper management of resources, something they're not skilled at since they see that state treasury as free money to be frittered
