The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has declared curfew in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun State.

He said the restriction was to curb the transmission of the coronavirus in the states, where it is prevalence.He announced this in his live broadcast to Nigerians on sunday 29th of march 2020 at 7:00pm.

It has been confirmed from NCDC reports that Lagos has the highest number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria.

This information was from the nationwide broadcast on Sunday.
