Below is the PROCEDURE

BLCO PROCEDURE:
1. Both Seller and Buyer sign SPA & write indemnity of performance notarized by court. Buyer returns SPA with ATB/NOR/ETA formats.
2. Seller loads cargo (2mbbl) for Buyer, sends evidential documents to Buyer:
a. Bill of lading.
b. Certificate of Origin.
c. Cargo Manifest.
d. Q&Q report at the point of loading.
Seller instructs Captain to issue NOR/ETA to the Buyer & Harbour Master in Tema Port (Ghana) for acknowledgement. Note: NOR expires after 3 days. If buyer doesn't initiate placing of instrument (with atleast a preadvice to Seller's bank) within the 3 days, the indemnity will penalize the buying company.
3. On receiving items mentioned in 2, and confirming, Buyer within 3 days of receiving, initiates placing of SBLC 760 in favour of Seller's fiduciary account. Depending on the SBLC amount agreed upon, Seller can issue 2% Performance Bond to Buyer.
4. Immediately Seller confirms the instrument, he instructs the Captain to move the vessel to 15 Nautical miles (NM) of Ghana waters, make announcement to the Harbour in favour of the Buyer.
5. Upon Buyer's Agent /Harbourmaster's acknowledgement, Seller's loaded cargo moves to 10-12NM and issues ATB and clearance for Buyer's inspection team to board for attestation and confirmation of product.
6. Buyer's NNPC accredited Supercargo remains on board whiles inspector disembarks with sample for QnQ. Buyer pays 1m USD as logistics.
7. After successful QnQ, Buyer pays total cargo less 1m USD.
8. Next transaction commences.
