Governor Umahi ordered the immediate payment of Civil Servants Salaries for the Month of April to enable them make vital purchases and stay safe in this Covid-19 pandemic time.

According to the governor, this is a good way and development to help ensure that the people don't suffer much this period.

According to the Governor, this will help to ensure that the people stock up food as the lockdown takes effect.

Umahi is a PDP governor from South Eastern state of Nigeria and the State houses one of the Corona Virus testing Station in the country.

Recall that the President, Mohammadu Buhari recently declared a total lockdown of Three States, Lagos, Abuja and Ogun State to help checkmate the spread of the virus.

Since he has excess money to spend, what of the non-civil servants and the self employed in the state, how do they survive
