Ghana’s Health Minister, Kweku Agyeman-Manu has confirmed that 31 persons out of 152 persons who tested positive for COVID-19 has recovered from the virus.

He further stressed that upon discharge, they will be kept in Isolation for a period of four weeks before they can interact with people.


So far Ghana has successively treated 33 corona virus patients while recording five deaths.

Nearly 220,000 people have now been confirmed with the coronavirus globally, of which at least 84,000 have recovered from COVID-19, while more than 8,800 have died, according to data from Johns Hopkins University in the US.
