Even the 125 naira. petrol station in awka still sell for 145 naira. typical igbo man.

Using every opportunity to insult yourself shows you're dumb!
If you think it is only in Awka that fuel is still selling at 145 then you need your head reexamined. Don't be unfortunate and stop listening to this audio government, fuel is still sold at 145 almost everywhere!!

Meritocracy:

When dummy that never capable of managing presidential position appoint himself petroleum minister, what do you expect. They are claiming 2.2million barrel a day at 57dollar per barrel after changes it to naira they peg revenue from oil at 2.67 trillion and the house of assembly joyfully accept it. If we don't kill corruption, it will kill us very soon.
There are too many things wrong with this country.

A lot of folks saying price should be much lower due to the dramatic crash in crude oil prices.

Unfortunately, crude oil accounts for only around 50% of refining cost. Other costs such as personnel, administrative, shipping, insurance, taxes, etc are still either constant or gone higher.

It's important to keep that in mind when forming our expectations on what the ideal fuel pump price should be.

Hmm Assistant Buhari. nice one

FG must be really naughty for this reduction of pump price, for God's sake Brent crude oil is sold for less than $24 now.

Fair point. It's always been my candid view, though, that govt should completely hands off trying to determine prices of petroleum products (and power as well). Prices should be driven by competitive market forces.

The current model of price fixing and subsidies is not sustainable. Apart from the fact that it encourages corruption, the major drawback is that it discourages private sector investments. We should just adopt the telecoms model for POWER and PETROLEUM PRODUCTS.

And put in place safeguards against price fixing.
