You all know the popular file-sharing application for PC. Popular file-sharing for PC are Limewire ( Thought the company has been shut down by RIAA this mid year 2010 ), Bearshare, Emule and Imesh ( My favourite ). I use to wish a smartphone can connect to such network and download files. Thank God for the life of symbian programmers for writing this little app called Symella.


Symella is a Gnutella file-sharing client for Symbian smartphones. Currently, it is available for mobile devices based on the S60 Platform 2nd, 3rd and 5th edition. Symella supports multi-threaded downloads which means that if multiple users have a particular file then Symella can download the file from several locations simultenously.
