Despite the low numbers being recorded, if u tune into CNN of BBC or any international media outlet u will hardly hear anything about nigeria corona outbreak or Africa at large. It's like Africa is only good for reporting bad news. The west said they are the most powerful with all the sophistication bla bla, yet America's covid nightmare alone is worse than the whole Africa put together. But if the reverse was the case, CNN and co will be blasting 24/7 how backward and disease ridden we are. Trump will be making usual jokes of how we are shithole and aid agencies will seize the opportunity to Foster their govt foreign policies on Africa. They will do this for about a week then eventually divert their focus back to the various wars, deaths and terrors they have instigated around the world, leaving us to perish. |
