Despite being small with a relatively low population of about 8million people, the Country since its independence has become a force to reckon with in terms of military strength.


Today, Israel boasts one of the most technologically advanced military stockpiles in the world. However, there are areas of strength which make Israel Defense Force (IDF) formidable, these areas include:

1. Weaponry

Israel is known for developing some of its own military equipment and augmenting the best foreign technology. The military equipment includes an array of arms, artillery, missiles, Planes, Helicopters, and Warships. Some of the technology used by the IDF are; Merkavas,F-15I Thunder, Jericho III, and Dolphin(submarine).



They are also believed to possess nuclear weapons but has not publicly admitted it.
