Emma Theofilus Namibia’s 23 Year Old Member Of Parliament by SarahLawal(f): 12:05am On Apr 03, 2020
At the age of 23, Namibia’s Emma Theofilus has been appointed Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Technology in her country.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (with distinction) from the University of Namibia and a degree in African feminism and gender studies from the University of South Africa.
Emma Theofilus has also been appointed a member of the National Assembly, among the eight members that the Namibian president is authorized to appoint. In addition to being Africa’s youngest minister, Emma Theofilus also became Namibia’s youngest MP.

There is a 33 year old in National assembly today , we have had a 29 year old speaker sef so it's been happening in Nigeria

In my own country na 60 to 80 years old men dey in power any youth that tries to move up the ladder will be pushed down like a log of wood well congrats to her and it's well with us j naija

This is why Namibia along with Rwanda and Botswana are the only countries ruled by blacks that are progressing in Africa.

The youths in Nigerian instead of them to take the mantle of leadership, they will be kissing the fantastically corrupt politicians asses and are willing tools to be used as thugs.

The youths had been advocating for appointment of younger people into the cabinet and the President listened to them.
The old guards were not happy. However, The President recognized the youths are leaders of tomorrow.
