Newway2:

Well drained & good loamy soil is the best.

We sell the seedlings for 2500/seedling & not the seed as the seedlings matures faster than the seeds because it is grafted.

Is your 100 x 100 in feet or meters?

Best planting space for avocado is 6m x 6m
tnks alot!

Hi, Are the avocado seedlings are grafted? what varieties do you propagate? and what is the rootstock used in grafting? How much is the cost of a grafted Hass avocado? Thank you in advance.

What is the variety of the avocado in the picture? Are the avocado trees in Nigeria affected by high temperatures? or Do high temperatures cause avocado flowers to abort?
Newway2:
More facts about avocado

Avocado trees have a long life-span and keep on producing fruit for many decades after reaching maturity. A Hass avocado tree planted in 1926 is still fruiting, and avocado trees growing in the wild in Mexico have been known to live as long as 400 years.

Commercial avocados are typically grafted and begin producing fruit after four or five years. Avocado trees left to grow naturally can start producing fruit in 10 to 15 years. They will continue to produce fruit for more than 50 years. Some trees still producing fruit are thought to be more than 100 years old.

How many fruit will a mature tree produce in one year? It is possible for an avocado tree to produce 200 to 300 fruit per tree once it is about 5-7 years of age. The avocado tree, however, alternates bearing. This means that the tree may produce a large crop one year, and then produce a small crop the following year.

Caring for avocado trees is very necessary, and patience is essential. I know how capricious this plant is because I've read many forums and different articles about it. I most enjoyed reading about Avocado Tree Care last year. That's why I have been growing a few for myself to see for myself how effective it is. I don't think you should take exotic species, and the most common ones will be enough to grow in almost any kind of soil and climate except the cold Antarctic.
