Former Governor of Osun State and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola has disclosed why the border was opened for returnees despite a Presidential directive to close them all.....

It's better that they were allowed in and taken to the Isolation Centre. If they're rejected and they sneak in through our open borders, we'll be in a bigger mess. All those testing positive now would have gone to their towns to infect many others unknowingly. The situation is better managed this way.
