Is there any difference between studying medcine in state university and federal university.

In terms of employment opportunity, superiority at work, job opportunity, scholarship during the program, restriction to a particular hospital e.t.c

The topic is hot oo. For me there is no really a difference only that the equipment used in federal are more than the states and they have more experienced lecturers. To be frank also people go to state schools because federal schools are quite competitive compared to state. The truth is whether you go to state or federal, u are still addressed as a doctor. There is nobody called Dr. Abia / Dr. Unilag. The only advantage is when it comes to referrences as a consultant. They will want to refer people to u when u go to top schools, this is not completely true because they have people who went to state colleges but excel greatly. The only thing is to get more experience, certificates and join more renowned groups.
