You can't connect a solar panel directly to a car battery, it won't change.

You need;
1. Solar charger controller:
You need to connect the panel to a solar charger controller that will regulate the charge to the battery.

2. Inverter;
Then you connect the battery to an inverter, the inverter converts the DC(12V) voltage into AC (220v) that can now power your laptop.

In some products the solar charger controller and inverter model are combined in one.

This is very right!

Thank you sir.
Then,
What specification of solar charger controller would work perfectly with a 100w solar panel and a 12v 50ah car battery?.

Also what specification of inverter would be good....
** I am only connecting my laptop and may be 2x5w energy bulb.

Just as the picture illustrates,

Solar charger controller of 8 - 10amp , 12v is enough.

For the inverter you need, 300- 500 watt, 12v.

Ensure you use good wires for your connection. 2.5 flexible wire to be on a safe side.

Sorry I didn't give enough details on your other thread, I slept off.

The bro above has explained in details, but one more thing many people fail to understand.

Car batteries are not built to endure continuous discharge and recharge cycles....The battery would pack up before you know it.

Please get a deep cycle battery !

My own is that I want the combination of what I need to power my laptop.

And it has to do with solar and nepa.

If prices are specified I will appreciate.

My nature of my job is online based.

Thank you.
