*LETTER TO GOVERNOR ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRASAQ*

It is almost a year since the Kwarans voted you as a Governor, we had hoped that Kwaran will be working for all. It is unfortunate the spirit is being defeated by some of your recent appointment of the Head of Our Institutions, particularly *KWARAPOLY AND KWASU.* It is unique because they are the only institutions situated in the State Capital that you can not get the kind else where, just like as we have Colleges of Education in the three Senatorial district as it is situated in *COE Oro , COE lafiaji and COE Ilorin.



The lopsidedness started when the Governor approved the Process of appointment of Rector of KwaraPoly which the former Governor even see as fraud, I wonder where 59 year will serve bench mark in the recruitment of *Rector*, today the Kwara Poly Rector as continue with series of fraud appointment , and appointing a junior above their senior Colleagues as either HoDs or Directors.





While we are still battling with how the situation can be corrected , the Governor released a Press Statement through Commissioner of Tertiary Institution the appointment of an Emirate Man as the Vice Chancellor of an Institutions jointly finance by all the 16 Local Government in Kwara State .




The most Ugly part of the Statement said the Governor has also approve the Governing Council of Kwasu but no names was mention to cover the fraud. The question that beg for answer was it not the Governing Council that was dissolved by the Kwara State House Of Assembly and recommended to start all over, the acting VCs was score high than the approved candidate of Gov AA. This is appointment has expose the campaign Promises of equity , fairness that we make Kwara work for all.






We wondered when Law department was accredited in Kwasu to make a Lawyer /SAN be the most qualified or has *NUC* amend the VC ship guide lines Even if Justice Mustapha Akanbi is alive today, he will not support this kind of *Nepostism*..This appointment has exposed us to what we are going to see in the Composition of different boards in some days to come . The Subeb, Local government commission we follow the same direction.We have never taught equity and fairness will be so difficult to define by you Gov AA.
