Just look to the North of South Africa and look how the once prosperous Rhodesia, the breadbasket of Africa, is now starving and completely coming apart as a gangland and rotten dictatorship grown from nepotism/despotism. South Africa is a facade, its gonna collapse, because no matter how much money we throw at this raqcial divide mess, and no matter how hard the media tries to paint a pretty picture of balckness, the black run government is heading for a cliff and determined to drive everyone off the cliff like lemmings, I think we should go back to the way things were 50 years ago, and throw Mandela and his criminal wife back in jail and this time throw away the key for good. No more aid. Survival of the fittest, like Nigeria and Liberia, and every single country in sub sahara Africa, a rotten mess that was once kept civilized by colonialism. Lets go back to that, it worked and worked well.

I think the evidence on ground actually corroborates his hypothesis .

Much as the situation in Africa is such a pity, but such racial statement should not be tolerated

He is WRONG in every respect. There is NO country in Africa that is worse off today than it was under white rule.

An exception  may be Zimbabwe, where it it was VERY NECESSARY, in fact MANDATORY, for Bob Mugabe to destroy the inhuman system of white minority ownership of 90% of the land, and create a more equitable FUTURE for all Zimbabweans regardless of temporal difficulties.

That the western powers decided in their vileness to punish Zimbabwe with sanctions does NOT mean Mugabe was ''wrong'' to do what he did. How can a person be wrong to retrieve his goods from armed robbers just because the armed robbers promised retaliation?

And Zimbabwe is NOW recovering from the evil sanctions, with whites now flooding back in there, albeit to a now more equitable country - courtesy of black rule.

As for NIGERIA, the country is 100 TIMES BETTER today than it was under colonialism, when 95% of the population were illiterate and lived in huts barefoot and malnourished.

Africa in general has come on in leaps and bounds since independence. There is a long way to go yet, but we do not sit around and allow the racist white media and white demons like this fool to try to deceive us into thinking things were somehow ''better'' with my grandparents living in a hut and illiterate under European rulers.

the issue with mandela is that he was in jail for too many years, that when he came out of jail. He has lost touch with information. And he had to trust decision of other people to rule. that was the reason. also he did accept to his short coming.

And I can tell you, this is the problem jonathan is facing, he does not know what to do. and the same think, buhari,atiku and others would do.

There is a digital divide and when a president is on the other side of the digital divide he cant help his nation. Mandela digital divide came because he was in jail. you can see the problem jonathan is having too. he does not know what to do. Jonathan as lost in time and space, so is atiku and others.

There is a difference between vision and dream. You would notice it says the young that would see vision and old men dream.

dream are what old people do. They could not do it in thier time. And their time as past, so they dream about it. He has no time anymore. he cant talk about the next 20 years. A 70 year man can not be talking about when he at 90 years. he is not sure , he would 90.

What would you have preferred - the whites still owning all the land in perpetuity with blacks eternal peasants on their ancestral lands?

Fact is Zimbabwe IS much improved from three or four years ago, and will keep improving. That's all that counts. The initial struggle to restructure the land ownership, albeit to western outrage, WAS worth it, AND secures a brighter FUTURE for ALL Zimbabweans.

I know that, being a Nigerian, the  idea of sacrifice for the future good of your society is probably an alien concept, but this doesn't apply to all other Africans. Mugabe actually fought physically in the bush for twenty years for his country's freedom. His body is filled with bullet marks and stab wounds. He and his party know why they had to put their country through that debacle in ways you could probably never understand.

Four Agricultural Universities in Zimbabwe have churned out thousands of graduates, yet Mugabe, that Hijo de Puta, went and gave over the highly mechanized farms to his old war compadres with zero experience and interest in farming. Mugabe IS responsible for turning the former food basket of East Africa to a famine ridden land. He and his cohorts have the blood of tens of thousands of Zimbabweans on their hands.
Of course that matters little to people like you. As long as he worked against white people, what do you care about deaths and starvation?

This is the issue i have with all these 'pan-africanists' and 'black supremacist' people on NL. They don't really care about the plight of the average black man, all they care about is sound-bites against the west and 'white men'.

That's why we'll never see you folks talking about the despoils in Congo, the killings in Darfur etc.
