COVID-19: Fayemi Appoints Fayose, Olanipekun, 45 Others in Resource Mobilisation Committee

Following the two persons tested positive in Ekiti state and lockdown the country in order to battle the spread of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus, the Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, on Saturday, April 4, has appointed the three former governors of the State; Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Ayo Fayose and Segun Oni as Patrons of a 47-member panel set up to help mobilise resources to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Panel which is officially known as Ekiti State COVID-19 Response Resource Mobilisation Committee has the former Minister of Health and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Juli Pharmacy, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi as Chairman.

The Founder/Chancellor of the Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD), Aare Afe Babalola will serve as the Grand Patron, while three former governors of the state were named as Patrons. READ FULL STORY AND THE LIST OF 47 MEMBERS

Fayose is not in the country now

Never you quarrel or fight on behalf of any politicians, they all have their meeting point where they merry and laugh

This is just aa political union. Fayemi may assume that Ekiti people will appreciate his supposed cordial relationahip with rival politicians. But the fact remains that there are more capable hands to take charge of this taskforce than some bunch of criminals with several corruption cases hanging on their necks.
This is not a period of politics or political reconciliations, that will come later. For now, get serious with this life threatning virus

Fayose will not accept the post. He will see it as a bait to lure him into the country so as to face corruption charges
