Lagos State government will be responsible for full medical bills of patients admitted to all State owned secondary health care facilities, during the lockdown period, as part of effort to lessen the burden of the lockdown on Lagosian.

This was disclosed by governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, via a tweet on his official twitter handle, on Sunday, April 5.

Sanwo-Olu said, the palliative scheme will cover patients in Emergency, causality cases, laboratory testing and surgeries.

The governor added that the state will also take full responsibility for the bills of pregnant women and their delivery during this period, across the 27 General Hospitals in the state.

Nigeria is in total disarray. Covid-19 has really exposed the incompetence of Nigeria's government but fools will refuse to learn.

Sharing 2 days food items to a section of the State is not what they want. Giving them audio Paracetamol in place of ensuring their health is an error. They need a great and working country that the individual effort of citizens is what would easily put an end to any crisis or pandemic. In the real sense, the government cannot do much, other than enabling policies and putting things to ease the process in place.

Go to ikenne and see the isolation centre built by Dapo abiodun, another apc leader, not to talk of the 2 others donated to his govt...as your myopic mind has deceived and blindfolded you so much that you've lost your bearing. Most of them are relaxing curfew already to pave the way for business and other activities to thrive. The so called isolation centre sanwoolu is bragging about, only yaba is a bit fair and its because it's a FG facility. Its been there all along since Ebola days. Onikan is just a ceremonial events centre with nothing in place, only 2 ventilators can't do anything. The mainland hospital isolation centre is just there. Thanks to the NGO who donated 3 fairly used ventilators there. He said he's doing palliative and began sharing 3 derica of rice, 3 derica of gari, 3 derica of beans and packed it inside a black bag and dropped 4 bags each in each ward of over 20,000 people minimum? Oh, common. You need to liberated yourself from party illusion.
