Not really, A8 and LS500 are clearly in the luxury large executive sedans that are larger and cost way more, the 508 is more of an inbetweener.
Think more of A4/5, 4 series, insignias, stinger, mondeos, top spec Avalons and maximas.

Between 1.4D engine,2002 307 Peugeot and 2006 X-line 1.6 of same 307,which is preferable?Asthetics is not considered.I am looking for easy to manage electrical and mechanical,less complexity and cheaper cost of parts and fuel economy.
