Ganduje Bans Arewa24 TV shows, Kwana Chasain, Gidan Badamasi Kano State Government has banned the airing of popular Hausa drama TV show; Kwana Chasain and Gidan Badamasi owned by Kano based channel Arewa24. The decision was announced by Kano state censorship board on Tuesday, ordering the immediate closure of the two most cherished Hausa drama. The board alleged the shows violate its law, according to the announcement signed by the Executive Director, Alhaji Ismaila Naabba Afakallah. According to him the movie go against sections 100 and 102 of the Kano state censorship board laws (2001), thus debasing cherished cultural values and norms of the people of the state.
