So far, the drama about fake news has been very funny. Fake news is bad but keeping the citizens in the dark will definitely lead to spurious speculations tagged "Fake News". Who do we blame? What should the citizens do? Keep quiet? Act like zombies? Accept whatever they see or hear?
Below are few questions Federal Government has refused to answer that have sparked Fake News over time:
1. How much has federal spent on Covid19 and who are the beneficiaries? Can the government publish the statistics?
2. Where is Nigerian president right now?
3. What is the health status of Nigerian president?
4. Some people are saying there is a hole in the neck of Mr. President, how true is it?
5. Is it bad to study Mr. President's picture?
6. Why is Mr. President not having interactive sessions with Nigerians as we had it under previous regimes?
7. Why is nobody briefing Nigerians on the latest role of Chadian army on boko haram? At least appreciate the effort.
8. Is it bad if Osibanjo addresses Nigerians on daily basis?
9. What of type citizens does APC government want?

You speak my mind. The truth is that this govt got to power by fake news and propaganda and they have been sustained by half truths and often resolve to keep mum on salient issues because of monumental failure staring them in the face.
