The Leadership of the National Assembly has berated the Special Adviser to the President on Social Investments, Mrs Maryam Uwais over her ‘negative’ reaction against the former.

The federal parliament in a session with the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajia Sadiya Umar Farouq, which held on Tuesday 7th April, 2020 pointed out gaps in the implementation of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP).

Reacting to this, Uwais heaped blames on the National Assembly for contributing to the ‘failure’ of the scheme.
