The rate of online begging these days is quite alarming, expecially on Twitter even before the COVID - 19 Pandemic and consequential Lockdown of some states.

How would the online beggars differentiate themselves from the the street beggars , will need some form of study ,if not research in near future.

As opined by RO on Twitter:
".... the ONLY thing differentiating some of you from the Beggars on the street is the Internet you have"

The Corporate Online Beggar and the Almajiri on the street is distinction without difference .

According to WHO, 90% of Nigerians live in multidimensional poverty. It’s not a matter of online or offline.
