In obedience to the lockdown order to curtail the spread of Covid-19 in Lagos State, the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his wife this Sunday celebrated the Easter at home by joining the online service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG. The move is to encourage Lagosians and other Nigerians to stay at home and observe social distancing so as to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. In a tweet on his official Twitter handle on Sunday, Gov.Sanwo-Olu wrote: "My wife and I worshipped online for #Easter, praying for our family, Lagos and Nigeria. Why are the commenters critizing Gov. Sanwo-Olu? What's the big deal if he decided to join online service? The last time I checked he is a Christian Worshipping at home is even very convenient for many of us Let's know where to criticize these politicians and where to draw the line |
