Thank you. I already quit and I hope I can find a way to get down to a general hospital tomorrow. I was hoping there'd be a home remedy or a specific medicine for it.

Home remedy kwa, no try am pls, to avoid stories that touch the heart. VIsit the nearest general hospital for a comprehensive check up, there's probably something going on in your liver.

Take more bottles of McDowells sir.

Run some liver function test, as well as hepatitis b, hepatitis C

That's ulcer bros.try avoid everything ulcer patients avoid.stop eating solid food like yam and swallow cos it takes time to digest.Avoid milk .don't allow yourself get hungry before you eat..

About 3 weeks ago, I had been drinking alcohol heavily. I drank anything I could find. I drank 5 large bottle of Mcdowells without mixing it all on my own every single day within a week. I'd also overdose on normal sleeping pills. When I heard the corona virus was starting to spread I decided to quit drinking but after 2 days of quitting I started noticing I was feeling slightly feverish, having headaches and stomach ache, diarrhea and on the 24th of March, I woke up in the middle of the night and I felt like I was going to throw up but I didn't.

I decided to self medicate with Malaria drugs, Flagyl and Tetracycline at home. That didn't help and I got worse. I went to a pharmacy and got jucopan and cirprofloxacin & tinidazole tablets. It got even worse.

I took myself to a hospital. I took injections for malaria and typhoid. Doc also gave me drugs for ulcer and malaria. I felt better for 2 days and then I felt worse again.

Went back to that hospital and their service there was just too annoying so I left. I went on Google with my symptoms and all of it pointed to ulcer. What I hadn't known was that the doc had actually put me on ulcer tablets so I went to the pharmacy and got Ulcertret, Maalox Plus, Ciprofloxacin & Tinidazole. I used all of them and I am still feeling pain in my upper abdomen.(I treated ulcer twice)

Now, the pain in my abdomen has become more specific. It's a feeling of indigestion and it also feels like it's unsettled like I'm going to puke but I never did and I felt it the most early morning and evening. I also feel full after eating just little. A new symptom also developed. I'm burping like hell. I burp every 10 seconds. I also feel very anxious. My hands are always shaky. It's like I want to have a fever but I don't.

I was starting to panic so I went back to that same hospital. Doc told me to take an abdominal test which I did. The test says my liver is mildly enlarged. The doc said there's nothing wrong with my stomach just the liver that I should go home and be using mismag that with time I'd feel better. The doc is young so I'm not sure how I feel about his service.

As I write this, I'm done with mismag and my upper abdomen still hurts, I'm very anxious and I poop immediately after every meal. My body aches, I feel fatigued and feverish. I've now had a stomach ache for close to 4 weeks now and I've been continuously burping for 2 weeks.

Note : I live in Ikorodu and there's no alternative hospital around and I can't move much because of the isolation. I'm not coughing, having shortness of breath or having any symptoms of Corona Virus.

Please, what do I do? I've used so many medication that I started to smell like pills.

Eiyaa,I m sorry you are having such a bad time. it does sound like you have alcohol withdrawal . I doubt you can do this on your own.
may I suggest you go to the nearest teaching hospital to see the psychiatrist. This is what they were trained for and they can arrange detoxification. Sorry again

Stomachache and pain and the other symptoms could be caused by many health conditions, but what you stated could be due to stomach ulcer/stomach trouble or hepatitis and it's very possible that the pain might be aggravated by too much pills on it.

Thank you. I didn't know there's something called alcohol withdrawal until I Googled it. It appears I have it's symptoms. I'll get down to a good hospital, meet a specialist and take the proper tests and scans to pinpoint what's wrong with me.

Good evening. My sis did hepatitis test 7 weeks post expensive and it was negative for b and C. She didn't believe it cos she was on antimalarial and antibiotics then. She did it again 3 months later (97 days) post exposure and its still negative. Any cause for alarm? Any need to do the test again? She has been having slight pains around her abdomen that last a few seconds at most 1 min. Sometimes her liver area, kidney area and sometimes ribs. Plusshe has been having loose stools not watery. Once per day. Any idea?

The symptoms she's experiencing could be caused by another health condition other than hepatitis. What needs to be done now is that she should complain to a doctor. The doctor will be able to check her properly and possibly get the condition diagnosed. When this is done, it will give us a sense of direction in its proper treatment.

Yes I did and the size has reduced to normal so I took some test and I tested positive for H Pylori. I've been on ulcerkit for 2 weeks and 3 days. Initially 2 weeks but because I didn't get any better I decided to go another week using Ulcerkit + Tetracycline and Flagyl.

I simply drank gazillions of kegs of water everyday for 2 weeks and when I went back for a test it was back to normal.

Hello Healthway. Thank you for your advice. I went to a better hospital and I ran a couple of test. Baseline, doc says I'm H Pylori positive. Doc told me to go use Ulcerkit and Acid Suspension (liquid) for 2 weeks. I've been on them for 2 weeks and 3 days and I can't say I'm seeing improvements. Still burping and farting every 5 minutes, having unsettled stomach and using the toilet immediately after every meal. Could it be ulcer or something else.

I noticed food like beans and milk trigger the stomach ache. And I'm doing a lot of exercise and eating fruits but I still feel like crap. I'm tired of it all. What can I do please?
