The Sen. Hope Uzodinma regime; having failed woefully to meet the basic obligation of governance like payment of salaries and pensions have resorted to blackmailing the PDP's Rebuild Imo Administration of His Excellency Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha CON.

In their pieces of blackmail which has been uncovered by our sources and to be released any moment from now, the regime wants to make Ndị Imo believe the Rebuild Imo government embezzled ₦19.63 billion from the local government funds in 7 months.

Because the regime do not have any answer for their acute non performance since the last three months they took over via the Supreme Court - that is why they could afford to lay senseless claims of propaganda.

If we should agree without conceding to the fact that ₦19.63b was removed from the LGA account in 7 months — how then was the PDP administration of Gov. Ihedioha able to pay Imo workers and pensioners on or before the 3rd of every new month?

What magic did they conjecture?

It is good that if you want to fly a propaganda, you fly one that has some plausibility of being believed not outright idiotic claims that has no basis in common sense.

Such amount of money could not have been removed from the LGA system while the LGA workers and pensioners were promptly paid as and when due.

It is not possible - even more so when that nascent administration did not borrow a kobo from any financial institution either local or foreign.

If that huge sums of funds were indeed stolen from the LGA funds as the regime of Sen. Hope Uzodinma will want us to believe tomorrow -

— how were the LGAs able to pay their workers and pensioners before the 3rd of every new month?

— how were the LGA administrations able to be doing massive projects that were ongoing in all the local governments before the supreme Court judgement happened?

— Under Ihedioha PDP administration, the LGAs were Building Secretariats, Sports Development Centres/Mini Stadia, Markets, Roads, procuring Earth Moving machines for rural development, as against today where the LGA workers are owed, Pensioners owed, all LGA projects stopped and the LGA Allocations for 3 months unaccounted for.

Many of those projects were at various stages of completion, in fact, Ahiazu Mbaise LGA had already completed their secretariat which His Excellency Emeka Ihedioha Commissioned before the Supreme Court happened to Imo State and many others were at near completion stages.

If ₦19.63b was stolen, would they have been able to do any of those projects.

It is on record that Ihedioha did not borrow one Naira while in Power. But today, the State house has approved a 7B Naira loan for the regime within just 3 months in office yet they are still unable to pay salaries and pensions.

This regime should leave propaganda and face governance as Imo people are growing impatient by the day.

No matter the level of blackmail they churn out tomorrow - they can not be able to erase the giant strides of the Rebuild Imo government which are now fully public knowledge as attestations are abound from civil servants and pensioners who were promptly paid.

The Regime of Sen. Hope Uzodinma should rather concentrate in delivering the dividends of good governance to Imo people like paying the over Two months owed salaries and pensions before chasing rats in the bush while his house is in fire.
