According to a new report from Harvard Study researchers, we may be social distancing for awhile to help mitigate COVID-19. Earlier this afternoon, we reported on the downright scary news that apparently, Coronavirus has the ability to be transmitted even via a dead person. As scientists and researchers around the world race to come up with some sort of vaccine or treatment for the virus that is spreading at an astounding rate, a group of researchers at Harvard are saying we may need to social distance for a couple of years to come to stop the spread. Researchers from Harvard Study Chan School of Public Health released a study in the Science journal that projects the transmission rate for COVID-19 post-pandemic, or rather, after the most severe wave of the pandemic, over the course of the next five years.
