Dr. Chugbo Emeka happens to be the first health worker to lose his life to the rampaging Covid-19 pandemic.

Nigerian Medical Association condoles with his family and the medical community.

He got his MBBS in UNILAG in 1990 and trained as a consultant in LUTH.

NMA LAGOS regrets to announce the death of Dr. Chugbo Emeka at the LUTH isolation ward. He died on 15/04/2020.He was a Private Medical Practitioner who was exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19.
We condole with his family and d medical community for this painful loss.

RIP to the dead and great kudos to the front line workers helping to combat the pandemic.

Meanwhile his Pensions Fund Managers should not be callous as usual with releasing this man's money to his family.
