|Experienced A Near Death Experience? Relate How You Felt During That Moment by SKhanmi: 11:31am On Apr 17, 2020|
So I almost gave the bucket a sliding tackle yesterday . Ask me how?
I went to do serious hard labor, don't ask me which type , without eating first despite my food pleading to be opened on the table. Even when I knew as a veteran that it wasn't the best thing to do.
Well, I finished without any incident & sat down to eat. That was when the reaper flashed me. First was the general body weakness that descended on me like an agbegilodo that just gave up midway uphill, then a tight feeling in my mid region. Then I slumped sideways against the wall. By that time my brain knew it was something to do with my energy levels and something was sapping my body like a sponge depleting even the glucose reserves like hunger pangs on steroids.
Problem was the food was right in front of me but I could hardly even move again nor even call for help. But me brain kept screaming "na die you dey so if you don't stuff that inside your mouth, wetin Dem go say kill you? I did manage to open the food & use my bare hands to put some into my mouth and started chewing. My eyes were already blazing, you know the effects when you're looking at powerful search lights & get blinded? I was seeing golden yellow throughout.
Not swallowed twice before the reaper called for real this time, my guy don tire to dey wait. My jaws shut down, My eyes that were blazing dimmed so fast to the point that they were right open but I couldn't see shit, Like say nepa off light totally. Funny enough, I could hear everything going around me, read that the sense of hearing was usually the last thing to goes when a person is dying. I confam am .
Then I blanked out for like a minute.
Nothing..zilch..nada. I guess I was right after all, my energy levels were wrecked, I came back to consciousness like a reluctant Lister generator with my eyes going back to normalcy, unchewed food still in my mouth and head placed on my hands. I didn't even try standing up before devouring the whole food first and drunk the whole jug of water as a plus. Sat back and started reminiscing, so this is how I would have died at my own dining table fah just because of stubbornness. And imagining people saying "Na so the guy take go o" in Erriga's voice ehn, Reaper Nwannem, not today.
Have you over had a similar experience, Please share. And I mean like you were the person involved, like personally personally

This occurred to me in the year 2016 when i had ruptured appendicitis.
While been sedated in the theater room l was given 50mg of ketamine injection but it doesn't work due to the fact that i takes alcohol. it was increased to 100mg still i was alert and chatty and pain sensitive. Not until i was given 150mg of it that i slept a Lil bit.
while the surgery was been performed, i was falling down deep into one bottomless pit that look like a maze. i kept on falling but was praying in my mind that God i must not reach the end of this tunnel because something was telling me that if i should give up and reach the end of this tunnel that I'm not going to come back alive.
I couldn't see anything other than misty clouds in the tunnel.
I woke up with a jerk when they were closing the surgery up.
It was then i realized that most of those people that died during surgery actually gave up to reach the end of that tunnel.
That experience was one too many for me. i don't pray to ever go under the knives again

January this year.
I can't recall the exact date but it was in the evening. Classes were over and I just came out of UNIBEN gate when I received a call from mum to come home ( My fam stay in Igousa, Oluku).
I boared a bus, sat in the first row behind the front seat in the middle of two people and began texting as usual, not looking ahead.
One minute I was texting. Next minute I heard someone scream 'Jesus!' . I looked up to see another bus coming towards us with full speed. Before I could say Jack, I saw shards of glass flying towards me.
Every thing happened in slow motion. I was jerked up in the air and fell to the front, narrowly missing the broken windscreen.
I think my heart stopped beating when my head hit a strong metal object on the dashboard.
My mind blanked out and I closed my eyes as the people around the place (around Megon bar and PP Royal Hotel area ) began to scream, it sounded so distant.
Almost everyone was injured in one way or the other. Thank God 4 life sha.
