In my practice as a clinician, I have never seen a selectively ruthless virus as covid appears to be.Even in climes with sophisticated and excellent healthcare service such as Northern Italy, it decimated their population. The same risk factors that have caused high death rate amongst African Americans exist in much proportion here in Nigeria.

So to the doubting thomases,take cover,stay safe,cover your nose,mouth and eyes when outside.

When it was 2593 cases here in the UK only 5 death was recorded. Death rate start climbing as the number of cases increases cos at that point the health sector would start being overwhelmed hence the increase in moetality rate. 4 deaths is one day is a warning for what's to come. We don't pray for it but let's brace up cos reality will soon hit home.

The Total Confirmed Cases includes both the discharged and the dead. The active cases are calculated as Total Confirmed Cases Minus Discharged Minus the Deaths recorded.

How much have you donated? I have seen videos of the patients twice. Isolation centres are not media circus

THE NO. OF DISCHARGED PATIENTS ARE SUBTRACTED FROM THE TOTAL TO GIVE THE NO. OF ACTIVE CASES. THEREFORE WE HAVE 334 ACTIVE CASES.

0.03% fatality rate is still good. I guess Nigerians have good immune systems even with their empty stomachs and very poor environmental sanitation.

the statistics was not good enough , the total mumber is the actual discovery number, if you minus the death and discharge you will have the total active case

If this virus gets out of hand. It will have been better to be infected early n treated with great care than infected when patients are much with no bed space left.
