Ranking The Top Five Forwards In Europe This Season Before Coronavirus Disrupted by Legitgoal: 3:14pm On Apr 18, 2020
Prior the the disruption of all Sporting activities by the deadly Coronavirus Pandemic, Some Football Stars where unplayable for their various clubs.

These players produced scintillating performances week in week out and fans where very much impressed with them.

The Coronavirus crisis have however kept us away from watching this players weekly so here at legitgoal, we have decided to lift the spirit of football fans by ranking the Top Five forwards in Europe before the Coronavirus Pandemic

5 Timo Werner


RB Leipzig Star Man Timo Werner, has been one of the standout players of the 2019/20 season.

The German international has elevated his game and has become a nightmare for defenders to face.

in the Bundlesliga, Werner has been involved in 21 goals and it’s of no surprise Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Chelsea are all in the running for his signature this Summer.

4 Jamie Vardy


Ageing like a fine wine!

Jamie Vardy may be 33 years of age, but the England international is certainty giving a lot of young striker a run for their money.

Vardy has adapted well to Head coach Brendan Rodger’s narrow 4-4-2 Formation, and his runs behind the channels have seen him evolve his game.

His 19 goals has given Leicester city a real chance of qualifying for next season champions league.

3 Ciro Immobile


Immobile is a striker that most football fans where not familiar with for the past three seasons..

However, the Italian international has taken the centre stage in 2019/20 season after his heroics in the Seria A.

Immobile has more league goals than Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku.

The Lazio star has also singlehandedly made his club on course for a UCL spot next season.

Best moment: Scoring against Juventus this season.

2. Robert Lewandoski



Lewandoski continues to make scoring goals look like a piece of Cake for the past 5 seasons!

The Bayern hit Man has again been a nightmare for defenders in 2020 with his clever link up play a joy to watch.

His performance against Chelsea in the first leg of the Uefa Champions league was certainly a performance made in heaven as tore the blue’s defence to pieces at will.

1 Ering Haaland



Haaland has been the surprised player this season scoring more goals than Cristiano Ronaldo.

The youngstar started his season with Salzburg before moving to Bourussia Dortmund in January.

He had already recorded double figures of goals in the Champions league before his team was eliminated by PSG.

The youngstar models his game to prime Brazilian Ronaldo.

Blessed with pace and technical discipline, the young Striker is certainly set to take the World by storm.
