One thing I noticed about achievers, no matter what race they are is, they plan their lives. If you don't screw up things for yourself by making horrible life choices, you too can reap great rewards. But some people will make one life changing bad decision after another & then act like they didn't engineer their own reality/existence.

People are taught to do whatever they want, then when its time to face the music people start making excuses for them and make it like it's not their fault. Everyone is blamed from politicians to members of the society (usually those) are faring better
