INTRODUCTION
akermas Energy is an indigenous company incorporated to deliver value added services to her clients. We aim at providing engineering and integrated solutions in developing new facilities, and highly conversant with classification rules & other standards and codes for Oil and Gas.

JOB SUMMARY
akermas Energy is seeking for process engineer to be responsible for the process design, operation and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
2. Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data.
3. Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.
4. Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
5. Perform process simulations.
6. Manage cost and time constraints.
7. Perform risk assessments.
8. Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline required (Master’s preferred)
2. 5+ years in quality or business process engineering
3. Impeccable math and statistical analysis skills
4. Excellent eye for detail
5. Proven history in improving supply chain efficiency
6. Must be comfortable with integrating new technology into an existing business environment.

EXPERIENCE:
1. Excellent analytical and math skills
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
3. Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
6. Proficient with computer and information technology
7. Knowledge of process engineering software systems
8. Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations
