If nigeria is a country, does it really matter what tribe the presideent is from?It is time we break up for good.
Re: Time To Break Up by Ikengawo: 8:24am On Jan 07, 2011
wow. what a mind blowing thread. you must have really gone all out thinking it up.
Re: Time To Break Up by redsun(m): 8:27am On Jan 07, 2011
Nigeria is nothing but a gangster paradise rule by gangsters like GEJ,ATIKU,OBJ and co solely for their own selfish interest
Re: Time To Break Up by redsun(m): 8:31am On Jan 07, 2011
It is glaring that nigeria will surely break up,except to foo_ls
Re: Time To Break Up by philip0906(m): 8:33am On Jan 07, 2011
Nigeria's problems r 2 complex dat not even a break up can guarantee soln. . .
Re: Time To Break Up by Nobody: 8:36am On Jan 07, 2011
So anytime there is problem in Nigeria, break up must be the best solution ?
Re: Time To Break Up by redsun(m): 8:36am On Jan 07, 2011
It can't immediately guarantee sanity but it will be a great leap towards sanity
Re: Time To Break Up by MaJBlige(f): 8:36am On Jan 07, 2011
why do you stay abroad and spew hate and doom so much? I cant understand.
Re: Time To Break Up by redsun(m): 8:40am On Jan 07, 2011
Nigeria is a country that backwardness reigns, from independence till this day. What's d point?
Re: Time To Break Up by redsun(m): 8:44am On Jan 07, 2011
The circular orientation in nigeria is backwardness, being passed o from generation to generation. It is time we break d yoke
Re: Time To Break Up by Ikengawo: 8:45am On Jan 07, 2011
what i don't understand is why nigerians can't realize they're their only problem. if you 'break up' your still in a country full of nigerians.
they're still going to bribe
they're still going to lie
they're still going to steal
they're still going to riot
they're still going to think whatever superficial group they're in is better then someone else' superficial group

if there's a yoruba country will it be better because yoruba's don't bribe, don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal, and have 0 sense of civic duty what so ever?
what about igbo or hausa?

is Ogun state is a yoruba country in it's self is it ANY different from Abia state outside of language?
Do either have electricity?

Is there ANY real leadership and EITHER state?

and the worst is with all these problems the people in both places have NO clue what a solution even looks like

Problem:We have bad roads

Rational person: Lets collect capital and build a road that leads us to the places we need to be so we won't live in total poverty and entrapment.
Nigerian: Lets break up the country into 3 roadless entities instead of 1.

well,a break up won't be as easy as passing a bill in d national assembly and them approved. It will be bloody and might never even be achieved, cos it will turn 2 a fight by d greedy elite 2 keep d natural resources and keep their wealth,or tribes trying 2 claim a chunk of d cursed oil. . .a more realistic approach will be a revolution. let every nigerian come 2gether and fight d oppresive elite
Re: Time To Break Up by Ikengawo: 8:51am On Jan 07, 2011
another problem is nigerians are just dramatic.

Nigeria doesn't have any more problems then anywhere in the developing world, but according to nigerian they're literally living in hell and 'suffering'.

Nigerians can't run an election, lose, and go home. If they lose they'll start burning things, and shooting people, all in the name of being dramatic.

Nigerians can't realize they're not the only country with more then 1 ethnic group. If you ask them it's causing total dismal poverty to have more then one language spoken in a geographic area.

If you ask a nigerian they're the only people on earth with problems. Dramatic unrealisitic thinkers that are surprised their leaders are dramatic unrealistic thinkers.

my advise to nigerians

CALM THE DOWN it's not that deep.

annoying.

Brilliant. . .a break up won't put an end 2 d basic problems confronting us.
Re: Time To Break Up by Ikengawo: 8:56am On Jan 07, 2011
Nigerians like most africans don't know how to think. that's the real problem, and is the worst problem of them all because your only tool for finding solutions, is defunct.

You REALLY thinking something other then Nigerians have turned nigeria into Nigeria?

Look at this forum.

It's chaotic, there's NO leadership, there's NO direction, there's NO discourse without insult and fighting, there's rampant tribalism, and everyone is dramatic and conflict oriented.

why, cause it's full of that kind of people. As would a yoruba country be, as would an igbo country would be, as would an hausa country be.

you're dealing with people that can't believe in God without bombing someone about it, or have to kidnap and rape someone because they can't afford an expensive car.
Re: Time To Break Up by 1money: 8:58am On Jan 07, 2011
Breaking up, not yet.
Re: Time To Break Up by Ikengawo: 9:05am On Jan 07, 2011
Nigerians have serious problems in their interactions with others.
We're seriously anti social people, and it's hard for a lot of us to exist in a society let alone create one.

We spend most of our lives trying to prove we're better then each other because we have an obession with false sensationalized superiority.

everyone thinks their tribe is some victim of the existence of the other ones.

yorubas will come on here and talk about igbos, igbos will come on here talking about yorubas but your states and villages suck because of your fellow tribes men and neither of you have achieved anything noteworthy of the title of modern society.

wtf is either tribe not failing at right now? do any of you have running water? lol gtfo

when you 'break up' will either of you have running water? as it stands all states are free to do as the wish, and they wish to steal from their own people, exploit their own people, and use EVERYTHING in society as a means of criminal self enrichment, so where do you REALLY come off saying you'll be better breaking up?

better at what? lol. Just stop sucking and you'll be legit.
Re: Time To Break Up by Ikengawo: 9:11am On Jan 07, 2011
I can bribe a teacher in all four corners of the country. I can bribe a police man on any check point, I can pay someone to kill another person at ANY part of the country. ALL tribes believe in superstition and fairy tales as opposed to science and ration.

It's not even so much the tribes hate each other, the PEOPLE hate each other.

In an Hausa country, Kano people will still swear they're better then Kaduna people
in an Igbo country Imo people will still swear they're better then Anambra people
in a Yoruba country Ogun people will still swear they're better then Ogun people

when Kano, Imo, and Ogun realize they have no running water, they will blame it on the 'other people' and instead of trying to find a means of providing running water, they'll 'break up' again and each state will be it's own country

they will do this over and over throughout history until every nigerian human being is his own country because in the end of the day nigerians believe everyone else is the reason for any problem they have and that they as an individual is the greatest thing on earth.

if you think Fulanis and Yorubas don't get along wait till you see how much one group of yoruba people hate the other group

same with igbos and hausas

you're all dramatic, problematic conflict driven people with no sense of ration and order, and nothing will ever change you guys because you wallow in your own ignorance to create an inflated sense of self worth thats based on nothing at all.

I think we are just exaggerating the problems of Nigeria mostly online.though there are few skirmishes that exist between us which is normal but we've come a long way to form a nearly homogenous society.
Attempts at culture capture cum diffusion have created an environment that all ethnic want to claim superiority over others.
take a look at southern sudan looking for secession.trust me that country will be poorer than zimbabwe if it enventually lay claims to secession.the point here is that the same people will struggle to survive and the fittest will rule over the weak and they would go back to stautus quo.
the problem of nigeria has nothing to do with ethnicity.some yoruba till tomorrow still blame obasanjo for doing nothing to improve the welfare of yoruba in Nigeria.

Re: Time To Break Up by Blackteeth(m): 11:29am On Jan 07, 2011
Forget about this break up thing. It wouldn't solve any problem. Theres a problem with the black race. As long as the country is a black country, things will never move.
