Anambra state Governor, Mr Peter Obi yesterday relieved the Acting Vice Chancellor of Anambra State University of his duties. Obi in his remark said that the decision to sack the Acting VC, Mr Anene was geared towards restoring normal education in the school. He equalled announced that the Provost of Federal College of Education Nsugbe should take over the mantle of leadership from him. It wil be recalled that last month, that the Governor reconstituted a new governing council of the University. Lets hope that this change goes a long way toward stemming the tide in educational sector in the school. |
