URGENT VACANCY! – PROJECT CONSULTANT


We are looking to hire a Project Consultant in a leading Telecommunications company. Please find details below;

Location: Lagos state.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist with delivering project(s) within agreed time, budget (financial) and defined quality criteria.
2. Develop project charter, covering objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of the company’s policies
3. Develop a robust, end-to-end execution plan in line with project objectives
4. Track project activities and compliance with planning guidelines and project plans.
5. Co-ordinate input and maintains plans throughout project life cycle.
6. Gather project status and assist in providing with up to date information on all projects (where applicable)
7. Track and monitor identified risks and proactively escalate risks in accordance with related escalation rules (where applicable) and procedures.
8. Facilitate the review of the technical proposals from interested vendors, with the aim of selecting the best candidate to deliver the objectives of the project.
9. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and tools to provide best practice insight and best-in-class recommendations to management.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. A degree in Sciences/ Engineering, preferably Computer Science/ Engineering or Electrical Electronics Engineering
2. Strong experience project managing the delivery of modern data centre, from design through to build and deployment. Having a project management certification is an added advantage
3. Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in enterprise IT management, technology consulting, advisory or professional services
4. Experience working in a large organisation, managing multiple stakeholders.
