May the old man rest in peace. If only the house had a cheap smoke detector installed, it would have made enough noise to wake up every one in the house and the old man will have been able to get out of his room alive. Most deaths from fire are caused by smoke inhalation and a smoke detector will have detected the smoke and raise the alarm earlier. |
