Following the resolve of Kano state government to relax the the ongoing lockdown from 6am-12pm for Thursday 23rd April only, to allow citizens stockpile foodstuff and other items in preparation for the Ramadan period; a video has surfaced online, showing mammoth crowd at an undisclosed market in kano who seized the opportunity to go buy things in the market.

Though the lockdown is to continue today, Friday 24 April, 2020, many Nigerians having viewed this video are scared on what damage must have been done because of the lack of all safety procedures by the shoppers.

Kano had declared a lockdown last Thursday to curb the spread of the novel COVID-19 in the state. As of filing this report, Kano state had recorded 73 cases, with 1 death.

I blame the senseless governor for relaxing the lockdown. It's a pity religion has blindfolded us in this country. Even those countries known to be more closer to God won't handle good healthful living with ignorance.
Anyways, the governor will soon pay the price in some weeks time

I felt nothing but disgust watching that video.
Even without the Coronavirus, the whole place looks so unsanitary.
It is a shame the governor lacks the balls to stand by the lockdown policy, buckling to religious pressure.

These people deserve their own country.
